The 2009 Hugo Awards were announced in Montreal at Worldcon this past week. I wouldn’t say there were any huge surprises but my picks didn’t win the top prizes. Check out the winners here.
Contrats to Neil Gaiman on his impressive book, The Graveyard Book. Although not my choice as winner, it was a close second.

Cost to get a novel on the ballot and then to purchase enough voting rights to actually win in a category. The biggest bargain is $8800.
