Casting has begun for George RR Martin’s a Game of Thrones on HBO.  On his website, GRRM begins to chronicle the hires to this point with Boromir, Sean Bean, playing Lord Stark.

With some of the most exciting news in awhile, Rose Byrne, who stars in the upcoming “tempest-in-a-time-capsule” movie Knowing, let slip to a reporter on a recent publicity tour that some of her friends were trying out for parts in the Star Wars live-action TV series.

This week Watchmen finally hits theaters across the country including many midnight shows.  Rarely have I seen such a runup to a movie….

In other auction news of the more traditional kind, Forry Ackerman’s vast science fiction/fantasy/television collection is going up for auction.

That’s right, ladies and germs, the alien-invasion, mind control 80’s show, V, will be returning to TV. Yippee!

Rumors are running rampant all over the net about who the final Cylon is.  IO9 has a great breakdown of the action.
